Celebrate the beginning of a new year and the end of the world as we know it as San Diego REP presents boom. Written by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, this comedy follows a young marine biologist as he prepares for the imminent end of the world. Directed by REP Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse, boom is a madcap comedy that suggests hope is worth holding on to precisely because we don't know what will happen next.

JOYFUL NOISE is about the surprising story behind the creation of one of the greatest works of all time, Handel's Messiah . The result was a runaway hit that traveled to New York for an extended run Off-Broadway and productions at other theatres around the nation.

As the new kid, Evan's got to make friends, then determine if they are the "right" friends to have. All the while, he works to get the cool kids to his Bar Mitzvah. This "grown-up musical about growing up" is presented by CYC Theatre, the same company that performed RENT last summer.
